de Havilland Day @ Panshanger Aerodrome

Today is de Havilland Day at Panshanger Aerodrome, as I type planes will be flying into Panshanger to celebrate the work started by Geoffrey de Havilland.

There's a chance of a flight in a vintage plane, there's great food available at the cafe, a de Havilland Museum information stall, a Jazz duo plus a talk about the great man's work at 3pm in the cafe.

Bring your camera, bring your family and friends it's gonna be great!

Entrance is £5 to members.

If you're not a member but if you would like to come along we're offering lifetime membership and entrance to the the event for only £10 payable at the gate.

If you have any pictures or videos from today's event please add them to our facebook page or our new feedback forum.

de Havilland Fly Past

A team of 7 de Havilland aircraft had a rendezvous at Panshanger Aerodrome today. Once all the pilots had been fed and watered in the cafe they flew in formation over the University and then over the de Havilland Museum. There was some stunning aircraft on parade and the weather held out. Superb!
